From the Batsheva Dance Company to the Royal Swedish Ballet and the Nederlands Dans Theater, Sharon Eyal has never ceased to demonstrate the extent of her talent. And the urgency that is his: to create again and again to set in motion his vital approach to the body.
With L-E-V (which means "heart" in Hebrew), a two-headed company that she created in 2013 with Gai Behar, the two choreographers develop a hypnotic and feverish dance, on the edge of trance. On a sharp and sensual techno, inspired by the world of nightlife and clubs, the bodies of the performers vibrate and ignite, driven by an insatiable desire. "I live, I love, I function while being broken in love crumbs" announces the choreographer in her note of intent.
After OCD Love, Love chapter 2 masterfully explores the relationship between love, drive and madness - and plunges us into a torrent of emotion, darkness and movement.
