In an astonishing performance, David Wahl and Olivier de Sagazan lead us with them on the trail of dizzying questions. What if there was a sexuality of stones? Louis XIV's anatomist, Pierre Borel, claimed to have irrefutable proof of this in a century when those who believed the Earth was inert and those who thought of it as a gigantic living organism were opposed.
Our two artists, both as whimsical as the other, obsessed with metamorphoses and transformations, plunge headlong into these controversies whose motifs they like to “mix”, both literally and figuratively! Olivier de Sagazan's material is clay. He sculpts it, makes a new skin out of it, a body to write.
David Wahl's subject is stories; stories often overlooked, sometimes incredible but always true and imbued with humor and poetry. In Nos coeurs en Terre, a show of disturbing beauty, they shape clay and words in a single gesture and offer us the opportunity to explore the origin of our world. A work that is as visual as it is spiritual, breathtaking!

In the press
At the start of their performance, David Wahl and Olivier de Sagazan arrive in black suits. In the end, they form only one being of clay, born from the union of expert hands and agile words. These words are those of David Wahl, a playwright who goes his own way, absolutely indifferent to fashions, but totally inhabited by his passion for science and extravagant characters.
Le Monde - Brigitte Salino
In Nos Cœurs en Terre, the playwright and actor, accustomed to extraordinary stories around science, and the sculptor, with a tendency to perform, come together on stage in lasciviousness to tell our relationship to stone and the origin of the mineral.
Liberation - Eve Beauvallet
You will feel closer to a plant than a phone! (...) The performers and the staging evoke the close affinity between biology and geology. Either way, the question arises.
Radio Nova - Marine Farrugia
A striking poetic performance around our mineral origins.
Science & Avenir - Andreina De Bei
