INSTALLATION DE FEU

Compagnie Carabosse

From 19 jul to 20 jul at 10pm - La Villette

Compagnie Carabosse is a famous theatre company that has been producing street arts for 20 years, stimulating poetic turbulence in the public space and inventing imaginary journeys accessible to all. Its "fire installations" have made it famous all over the world : from St-Christophe-sur-Roc to the surroundings of the Kremlin in Moscow ; from Villeurbanne to Essakane in the middle of the Malian desert ;  from Antwerp to Tirana ; from Rochefort to Adelaide in Australia .

Thanks to a unique creation and an in-situ scenography specially designed for the festival, the Parc de La Villette will ignite the time of two unforgettable evenings. Marked by torches, forges and other machinery spitting giant flames, a night journey will gradually illuminate along the Ourcq Canal, according to thousands of candles lit like wildfire with the complicity of residents.

A journey where wonder, imagination, humour and poetry are the leading characters.
