"I wouldn't have made it here if ..." A few innocuous words that pose a dizzying question. What made, defeat, marked, upset and sculpt me? What chance, encounter, accident, perhaps also what revolt, have spurred my life?
Annick Cojean asked this question to thirty inspiring women such as Amélie Nothomb, Christiane Taubira, Asli Erdogan or Delphine Horvilleur.
Under the direction of Judith Henry, the two actresses seize on the words of these women, the questioning and the answering, and bring universal words to life in the form of a conversation.
Through these individual accounts, I would not have arrived there if ... evokes the condition of women, the relationships between men and women and the evolution of ideas that structure our society. Delicate, intimate, sometimes unexpected, the words come to break the conformism and banality thanks to this singular art of "giving birth to thought".
