DANCE

We all can fall: because we stumble, because we have no strength or because we faint. But also because we fall in love, we give in to temptation, because we fall into oblivion... In FALL, Portuguese choreographer Victor Hugo Pontes questions the blurred lines between the physical fall, which movement is undeniable, palpable, visible, and the other, metaphorical fall, which requires a moral judgment.

Is there really a boundary between them ? Can falling down be a deliberate act or is it inevitably a fate to bear ? Does it condemn us or does it liberate us ? Dancing and exploring movements allow seven interpreters to try and answer these questions.
