16 YEARS AND ABOVE
TARIF A

Is it a battle, a tribal ritual, a martial parade ? Dry, voluptuous, gnarled, young, old bodies of 18 naked dancers engage in a collective trance that reveals a wild and archaic humanity that is, above all, terribly alive.

Olivier Dubois, the agitator of French contemporary dance, makes his dancers go through a repetitive and hypnotic choreography, which keeps growing and requires them to be extraordinarily dedicated. The bodies are given to us through both their strength and vulnerability, at the edge of exhaustion, leaving no space for taboos and false realities.

A powerful Tragedy, acting like a tremendous wave, making us go through intense and deep sensations.

« Danseurs go through the show as if through a cataclysm. They don’t even realise what they have just given us. » Marie-Christine Vernay, Libération
